Can people do anything to reduce the level of harm that marijuana is doing to them when they take it?
Yes. Here it is:
- Stop taking marijuana.
- Don’t take too much marijuana at any one time.
- Don’t take marijuana very often.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
- Get enough sleep.
- Exercise. Challenge the body.
- Study. Challenge the brain.
- Make something. Challenge the creativity.
- Have friends who don’t get loaded. Challenge the ideas.
- Do qi gong. Challenge the energy.
- Eat foods that can help to balance marijuana’s effects.
- Get bodywork.
- Get acupuncture, especially if they know how to treat marijuana syndromes. The marijuana syndromes model is a very comprehensive therapy for harm reduction that can be used at any level of cannabis involvement.
